The Compact Positioning System provides the same positioning flexibility as their Heavy Lift brethren, but in a condensed package that will fit easily in an experimental station. These six degree-of-freedom mechanisms are designed for positioning samples within an X-ray or neutron beamline, and their payload capacity provides the user with the option of integrating a small environmental chamber so that the sample can be tested under specific conditions.
The Compact Positioning System provides positioning flexibility in an optimized, or customizable, system that will fit easily into experimental stations. These systems are based on six degree-of-freedom mechanisms, designed for positioning samples within X-ray or neutron beamlines. Their design allows for the center of rotation to be easily defined by the user. Due to their size, they are ideal for positioning beamline conditioning elements, whether upstream or downstream. The precision of specific degrees-of-freedom can be refined or detuned, depending on the hardware used. Compact Positioning Systems are also available in vacuum-compatible versions.
